Technology connected to real priorities
Smart Benue Initiative is the flagship implementation initiative of Innovate Benue. It is designed around practical state priorities rather than technology for its own sake—connecting digital capability to education, agriculture, healthcare, energy, governance and local development.
Integrated rather than isolated systems
The initiative promotes shared infrastructure, trusted data, interoperable services and coordinated implementation. This approach can reduce duplication while helping institutions and communities benefit from more responsive, efficient and accessible systems.
Building responsibly
Smart transformation requires capable institutions, inclusive access, cybersecurity, appropriate governance and continuous learning. These principles will guide programme design and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies across the portfolio.
This article explains strategic intent and planned delivery pathways. Programme outcomes will be reported separately as implementation evidence becomes available.
